It’s just such a different book. It’s so goofy and real. I don’t usually like a story that’s a bit non-linear or unclear, but this is JUST enough weirdness, trippiness, or lack of direct clarity.
I like that comics can still do this stuff. I like comics that can tell weird stories, do different things, and just be so strange and potentially off-putting to a large number of people. This is why I like comics better than comics movies. They can take risks and do something that would never make a hundred million bucks.
