Review: Doctor Strange, Vol. 1: The Way of the Weird

Doctor Strange, Vol. 1: The Way of the Weird
Doctor Strange, Vol. 1: The Way of the Weird by Jason Aaron
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

What I liked is that Doctor Strange, Stevie, uses axes and swords and shit and isn’t just waving his hands around all the time.

Also, why, in the old comics, was he always wearing gloves the color of macaroni and cheese? And, wait a second, why was The Infinity Gauntlet the same color? And Adam Warlock’s skin?

Why is macaroni and cheese the color of magic?

Anyhoo, good book, but the first volume is totally build-up to the second.

Oh, also, points removed for librarian character. Why does everyone think that every librarian is SO concerned about how they store their books? If I was in the Sanctum Sanctorum, I think I would give no fucks about the fact that Strange’s books were poorly arranged. My books are poorly arranged and I don’t have a magical bone in my body!

Heh. Magical Bone. Okay, review over.
