Your honor, we all know that the lookout is the job of the person who least wants to be involved in a bad thing. It’s the way your friends let you be involved in something profoundly stupid without having to call out the fact that you’re a nerd.
Just think about it. Who are the famous lookouts in history?
Paul Revere. Dude rode through the country, “bravely” warning everyone the redcoats were coming. Meanwhile, nobody is paying attention to the fact that while he’s “warning” us he’s riding AWAY from the impending conflict at full speed. Bravery? Ha. Hardly. Huge wuss? Ha. Totes.
I rest my case.
